Going to the DOC was a valuable experience. There is so much more to printing than meets the eye and what I learned about printing is just a fraction of what there is to know about it. There are things to be careful about, such as: file size, colour, media, and file type. More knowledge will hopefully come in the near future.

Working With Photoshop

Photoshop is an interesting and complex tool which allows the user to do wonders. As such it can be used to perform many tasks. I started out using two pictures i had taken in stanley park. One of them is a picture of a flower and the second one is the picture of a raccoon. I combined both images by cutting out the raccoon and placing it inside the flower (this had to be done by cutting the front of the flower and pasting the raccoon in between the picture and the cut-out). Then i went into the details, like trying to make the raccoon look more 3D and making the picture better.

Today is my first day of Digital Imaging Essentials Class for the Summer. It sounds like an interesting class and I am looking forward to what I am going to learn. This class will take a lot of effort and work, but the experience and knowledge acquired will keep my interest up.
